Missouri Highway Patrol and Misc Questions

Hello, I'm in the Kansas City metro. I'm new to the P25 scanners. I've got alot of the area's departments programmed into the scanner. Sometimes looking at the frequency database I can't figure out which system a department is in, example, Jackson County or KCMO. There appears to be about 10 systems withing the KC Marrs system. Is there a way to tell which of those 10 systems a department is in. A lot of them are sorted and I can tell but some are not. I'm also trying to figure out which of those systems that the MO and KS Highway Patrol Troups near KC are on. Thank You
