I have programmed the Vehicle Repeaters/Extender frequency for the HP Cars in my scanner.
I guess this happens only when I'm close to a car. But I have picked up the NWS Weather stations on this frequency numerous times.
Is that how their 'vehicle' repeater is set up? to repeat the NWS Frequencies or what?
My second question I just answered myself, with some luck
I was wondering how much output power the Phillipsburg (Laclede County) Relay had.

20 Watts 211 Watts ERP.
Does UHF have a shorter 'reach' than VHF?
