The Missouri highway patrol is booming right now in Hernando County Fl with a mag mount mobile antenna mounted on a high shelf in my house. Scanner is PRO 2053, all troops coming in now. I started hearing traffic at 1805hrs .

MHP is booming again in Hernando County FL, started coming through at 1718 hrs. Using a Radio shack pro 2053 desktop scanner and a Hustler mobile antenna with the magnet on a steel filing cabinet in my den. The RS shack scanner is proving more sensitive on LOW BAND than my Uniden BC895XLT with the same antenna. The Uniden is only recieving about one tenth of the traffic that the PRO2053 is.

MHP booming again in Hernando County FL started coming through at 1315 hrs, still going at 1700 hrs.
