Talkgroups do not have control channels. Sites have control channels. You may not be monitoring the site that a radio using talkgroup 20105 affiliates with. All radio traffic is not carried by every site. You must have the site selected where the radio is being received.

I have 20105 programed in through ezscan and that talkgroup shows up on my units talkgroups list

What is "Springfield main"?
Please provide a link to the database page for this one.

It almost sounds like you are not monitoring a Moswin site at all and may be monitoring the Motorola Type II system for Greene County.
Is this what you are monitoring? Springfield / Greene County Public Safety/Services Trunking System, Springfield, Missouri - Scanner Frequencies
Talkgroup 20105

It might be because there are no radios using that talk group that are affiliated with the site you are monitoring.
They do I have received them, but on scanner app I receive them but not on my unit

The scanner app you listen too may be monitoring a different site that has radios affiliated with TG 20105 but as was said, your local site may not have any radios affiliated with it that use that talkgroup.

Im receiving it now took 5 hrs

Where are you located? You should hear TGs pretty much anywhere in the state. Unless your limited by terrain and no antenna setup.

Do you hear talkgroup 20107 very often? That's Springfield West dispatch.
How about talkgroup 20109 which is Springfield North dispatch.

Are either of these fairly active for you?

Troop D Springfield Dispatch East/West appear to be rarely used, I have seen them in my logs but not often. Troop D Springfield Dispatch 3 South 20109 is active 24/7.

Hi

Would you feel comfortable telling us which County you are in? Or perhaps a large town or city near your location? This would help determine which site you are monitoring. Unless you known the site - Cassville, Hurley, Theodosia, Branson... ?

I think the OP said Cedar County before but I can't recall if he said what part of that county so a city very near him would probably be the better idea.

Ok, thanks missed that... He's some distance North of me so it makes (some) sense - I'm down here by the state line. Would still like some info about Troop D Dispatch West or East - anyone else monitor these two and are they active?

Thanks

Seems strange because receive Arcola site full scale which covers 99.9% of Cedar County and seldom log anything from Troop D Dispatch East...
Also Taney County is at the extreme Western edge of Troop D patrol area and see basically nothing from Troop D Dispatch West.

I have found the frequencies for Arcola/Dade, how do I find the talkgroups? Thank you.
Hi
If you're receiving Troop D Dispatch East 20105 those talkgroups for MHP should already be programed in your scanner. And program Troop A MHP talkgroups. Up near the Polk/ Cedar County line may put you in rage of Troop A - look in RRdatabase, let us know what you come up with. Thanks.

Do you receive Troop D Dispatch South 20109?

polk cedar line.
Looks like I'm out of range for Troop D Dispatch West/East Dispatch, thanks for that clarification... Can someone with knowledge of MOSWIN MHP in general please explain to me if there's a cutoff point for East/West/South tower sites Dispatch? Do some Troop D radios only affiliate with these specific sites? Have very good elevation, and realize terrain plays a major role - trying to setup my station for maximum range and efficiency.
