Speaking of A/G frequencies, has anyone heard much on 151.34 or 159.30 during wildfire season? If so were transmissions narrowband FM or digital? I understand 159.30 was once used by Conservation Officers for what I presume was their tactical simplex channel like talkaround, but this was before I was in the scanning hobby.

I typically hear in north central Minnesota a lot of times DNR TAC 1 for their on scene operations. They do have limited 800 MHz portables but seem like their boss leads have those to talk with local fire departments. Also they use their local DNR VHF repeaters as well too. I have noticed that some fire departments still have VHF to use the DNR TAC 1 and the local forestry repeaters too.
