Seeing as I had brought up this topic. I've been able to find a pic that I had here, of a local MNR Truck from the Pembroke Office (I believe) the number on the side of the truck says R1802 - would that be there ID at all.

btw, just to give the scoop on the pic. It's showing MNR picking up an Elk that was struck by a vehicle not too far from here.

I've also been just told that MNR Units are in fact going by the (R) Romeo designation.

Interesting though, I've been hearing some comm's from them on the MTO Enforcement UHF Repeater 411.6875 anyone know why?

Alas, here's some of the ID's I've been able to log so far.

Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Unit ID's
R270 - ?
R279 - ?
R503 - MNR Pembroke area
3R7071 - Conservation Officer - Frontenac Area
3N7071 - Conservation Officer - Lanark Area

Anyone have any idea on the zone's an such for MNR and how are there Unit ID's related to there zones.

I haven't heard ANY MNR activity at all other than Comm centre calling for them on either Sim11 or MTO VR which is kinda odd.

If anyone can help me out with these that'd be great.

Here's an update on ID's that I got.

Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Enforcement Unit ID's
R077 - ? Heard on Sim11
R207 - ? Heard this on 411.6875
R270 - ?
R279 - ?
R348 - ? Heard on Sim11
R490 - ? Heard on Sim11
R502 - ?

MNR is fairly active around here... I usually hear activity on their talkgroups daily. They typically go by Romeo blah blah, where MTO Enforcement is 6 Romeo blah blah... although fairly often the dispatcher will leave out (and sometimes add) the '6' designation. Quite often MTO and MNR are patched toegether as well.
