Caught some good low band distance yesterday morning. Was able to copy the Brent Access Point at Algonquin Park up by Deuex Rivieres from Renfrew on 48.040 PL 110.9

Given that driving distance from home to the Access Office where the tower is, is about 175 km's. Straight line distance shouldn't be too far off either.

That's gotta be the furthest I've heard MNR on the low band. Aside from maybe MNRF Water Bombers.

I never have any issues getting Fitzroy Provincial Park. It always comes in at a good signal.

I have not been able to hear Bon Echo or Bonnechere Provincial park (Round Lake) from home here but that's likely due to topography as well.

Low band activity has been fairly active this summer.

Been hearing activity all summer on Haliburton Fire Mgt. area Ch. 4 46.700 pl 110.9
