Anyone notice a drop in signal strength on the morris county dispatch freq. 476.2875 ? Im in the rt 206 area of flanders (mt. Olive twp). Not far from one of the transmitter sites. But I also notice low signals even when driving around this area of the County. My Signal meter lately has been reading between 0-1 bar(previous 5 Bars). Now I have multiple scanners and antennas and im getting the same with all, so I feel I can rule out its my equipment(i think)Anyone else experiencing the same..? Just Curious...DAN

Yeah, that sounds odd that you would receive a weak signal if you are close to a tower. I believe the signals are transmitted from multiple towers so even if there was something wrong with the one close to you, you should receive from the others. They also put output power on the transmitter is approx. 100 watts. With that power on multiple sites sounds kind of weird your reception would be low.

Thats Exactly what i thought..I dont get it , I can hear the calls and such it just isnt reading as strong on the meter as it has in the past. I got to check my antennas again .but i know thats not it...oh well
