Mobile, Alabama Police Officer Dead and 2 hurt after a suspect was taken to jail and the subject tries to escape at the jail. Officer stabed at jail inside sally port. Suspect in custody now. Suspect may be dead after shooting at jail.

Suspect may have used a small knife hidden inside his necklace to kill the police officer and wound the other officers. News reports the suspect has been shot by the police officers on the scene. The wounded officers have been taken to the Hospital in Mobile.

No memorial fund set up yet. Information is slow to come in. Mobile Police Department has not issued many statements.

It appears the supect that was to be booked inside the jail had a small razor blade arround his neck hidden by a star madalion arround his neck. The suspect may have used the razor blade to stab a officer inside the jail. The suspect then took a Mobile Police Car and a gun from the jail to a house and the police follwed him to the house. The police then was able to shoot the suspect multiple times and kill him on the scene.
