Anyone know of a mobile/base style scanner/radio (Not handheld, looking to mount in a vehicle) with a channel knob (1 turn equals a different channel or scan list) that can handle p25 phase 2/LSM without affiliation?

A Uniden 996P2 will do that.

Once you Hold on a channel, you advance the channel by rotating the Silver Knob to the right or left.

The radio is DIN sized for vehicle mounting.

It performs surprisingly well on P25 phase II systems using linear simulcasting also. Even though it doesn't have the proper I/Q demodulation circuitry it performs rather well.

Chances are you will be very unhappy if you get a BCD996P2. It *might* work on the LSM system ... but probably will not. Particularly moving around in a vehicle.

If you hold on a channel (TG) on an SDS200, you can also rotate the big knob to scroll through the TGs.
