I read a message on a different forum that said that Mobile City has gone live on their P25 system and is no longer using the County EDACS system.

Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks. That what I thought. The guy who posted it is a new user (I think). I've explained to him twice how to do the Pro Voice upgrade and he's still not sure. Plus I have yet to convince him that the Pro Voice upgrade won't help with P25.

At least I'll get one more use out of Pro Voice when I'm down there the end of the month. ;)

Not true. A few months out still.

I'm in Baldwin County and finally got a chance to run the Analyze feature on my 436HP on the new County system. The only site I can receive is what I've termed the Mobile County Simulcast. That's because as I recall from my research on the FCC license site, there are three sites listed for the same set of frequencies. There are a couple of other sites, which I take to be fill in sites.

System ID is 000ah--010
Site ID is 0010
WACN is 927f-4h
NAC is show as Ah.

I thought that the NAC was always three characters. I'm not all that familiar with the Analyze feature, but I believe the "h" means Hex to denote how the system is listed.

Analyze is not showing the control channel frequency, so I can't provide that.

This is what I have programmed in for that site, in case anyone wants to try it with either DSD+ or a P25 capable scanner.
