Mobile County Coms District ID's

There is usually enough to listen to here in Baldwin County, but at times I will unlock the Mobile County system and have been pleasantly surprised to find that LE is not totally encrypted and have noted some undocumented ID's that are either MPD or MCSO.

Can anyone shed more light on these? I have also noted with my ProScan logging that some ID's show up with both a 4-digit and 5-digit number. What's up with that?

I have been trying to tie TG's to an MPD precinct but can't seem to figure it out. Also, there seems to be one TG that transmits fairly frequently and while it is seemingly not encrypted, it is unintelligible and each transmission lasts only 2 seconds or so. This is TG 2075.

I will continue to use Discovery on my SDS200 and see what I can decide but if anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Good morning! Using ID Search on my BCD436HP, I have also heard those talkgroups in Mobile County but have not been able to identify them. I created a "Department" in Sentinel named "ID Search" to save them. Listed below are all the unidentified TGs I've heard on Mobile County's P25 system along with a few notes of what the communications sounded like. Interop is a designation I use when the conversations don't readily identify the service type.

Thanks, mate. That's quite a few entries missing from the database. I also have noted 1268 with some LE talk. I have some mp3 recordings from ProScan that I need to go through and see what I can determine. Good idea to create a department for those; think I will do that with just the unknown law TG's and leave out the fire and EMS for now.

I was in Mobile on July 4 in the afternoon and heard a law enforcement dispatch call to the area of Cottage Hill Road and McFarland Road which was answered by "Tac 2." I heard this on TG 65134 on the Mobile County Communications District P25P2 System. I suspect this was MCSO but is another unidentified TG on this system.

Those 65xxx TG's are dynamic patches, they usually use a different TGID each time.

Good to know, thanks for that info mate. My listening to the MCCD systems has been sporadic lately so I need to get back to trying to figure out some of the LEO TG's.

Question: to what do those 5-digit TG's patch?
