Mobile County EDACS update

As of last week, the Saraland Tower is now working. The tower replaces the Spanish Fort tower. The frequencies and LCN is the same, however. My 785D runs fine with no reprogramming, and also my county issued radio works on the saraland tower with no reprogramming (although the screen still says sp.fort). From what I understand, the tower is located near Nelson Adams Middle School in Saraland.

Need a little help w/ Pro-97

I could use a little help with my Pro-97. As a long time user of the 235, I could swap banks and turn lists on without ever looking at the keypad. I am struggling a little with the 97 however.

In particular I need some help getting my TG's arranged so that I can scan just a single precient in Mobile (City), specific couinty ID's, etc. I've got the scanner all programmed, etc, it is just setting up my banks, etc. This may be a WIN 97 user error as much a as a PRO 97 error.

In any event, if someone would like to get together and teach this old dog new tricks, I'd be happy to buy lunch or whatever! Any takers? I can meet in downtown Mobile, Fairhope, Foley or points in-between.

Many of us here and in the South Alabama Scan group have been talking for a while about getting together soon. I'm in South Carolina this week and I'll be off to South Dakota for a week after this. Maybe in a couple of weeks, we can meet in Daphne for some Hot wings, beer, & fellowship.
