What model of Garmin GPS are you using? Also, what did you do for your speaker from the Uniden?

I am using the gps 18 pc model from Garmin. I bought this. http://www.provantage.com/garmin-010-00321-54~7GRMN038.htm

The speaker you can see above (in the pic) my CB and to the right of the scanner. It is kind of obscured. It is branded as a Maxon, I bought it at a local radio shop in Rolla, MO about 4 years ago. It is about 2" tall by 4" wide by 3" deep. Sorry I can't find a link. I have seen other speakers that look the same but with different branding, I think it is a good speaker; definitely better than those I have purchased at Radio Shack.

that looks very much like one I picked up some 15 years ago at Gateway Electronics (www.gatewayelex.com). I currently use it in the shack but have in years past used in the car. The one I have in my vehicle now is a little round jobber that sort of gives me a retro feeling like I should driving a van in the 1970's :)

Max...

Looks like he's a mite protective of his scanners.

I believe in proactive solutions to all of lifes' little problems! ;)

My scanners are just fortunate to be in the right place at the right time! :D
