I created a new P25 Mobile County system in the database based on user submission. If you are local, please take a listen and make sure everything is correct or create correction submissions as needed.

Mobile County (P25) Trunking System, Mobile, Alabama - Scanner Frequencies

It appears to be a 10 site simulcast Harris system and should be a Phase 2 system.

For those using Uniden Sentel capable scanners it should show up in the next database pull this week.

There is ancidontal evenidence that there are some fill in sites that *may* have different site numbers, but it is unconfirmed.

I have updated the description of the EDACS system to reflect that there are two systems in place.

Again, please take a listen and see what you find and submit *confirmed* information to the database.

Thanks!

Simulcast sites are as follows,

0769.25625

Everything on the current EDACS system will be on the new system once it's operational.

The two observed active control channels are 770.00625.and
0769.25625. It's as nd5y says, all channels can be the control channel and some Harris systems rotate through them all.

What will be on this system? what are the control channels
Can't see them for the green

I was listening in Fairhope on a 436HP with the RS 800Mhz antenna. Reception that way was very positional, but if you have an outside antenna or are mobile, you should hear it pretty well.

I am across the bay, so I shall enter into my 996P2 and listen out.

I live in Fairhope and use an attic-mounted antenna to listen to Mobile City and County. My hometown PD has gone encrypted :(

I liked it better when they and Daphne were on their separate LTR systems. Some of the departments on the 700 Mhz system are in the clear, but not the ones I want to listen to the most.

Sometimes you can get a patch that is in the clear from the county's NXDN network. I'm still sorting out talk groups and stuff from it.

Are you talking about a patch from the Baldwin 700 system to the Daphne (and others) NXDN?

There are a couple of patched TGs, but I'm don't think Fairhope is one. I've heard Baldwin Central talking to FDs on the NXDN system. I think I've heard one of the Sheriff's talk groups as well, but my SDR set up died before I could confirm that.
