I would like to build a mobile setup for recording and logging that isn't too large or heavy. For the most part, I would be using this in the passenger seat of my car.
Right now, it's a pain to do this. My laptop is large and won't stay put. I have cords running everywhere, a 12V inverter to plug in, etc. Also, the screen on my laptop is impossible to read when the sun is out.
Here's what I would like to do:
- Purchase a new *small* laptop with a more visible screen
- Purchase a briefcase (or similar case) with enough room to hold the laptop, BCD396T, 12V inverter, and all other cables...a case that allows me to use the scanner/laptop *without* having to remove them.
Any suggestions?
