I normally refrain from negative comments, I'm a firm believer in Darwin, but that is a massive projectile on your dash.

Not to mention the unit will BAKE in the sun with the windshield acting like a Magnifying Glass

Is that a stock vhf antenna? At first I thought it was a low band antenna.

Its a high gain vhf antenna from motorola, I have a stubby and a normal 10 inch antenna and this one out beats them all, even on a uh5r

That also looks like an SMA antenna, which your radio doesn't have an SMA connector. You'll burn it up if you TX much.

Never mind, I stand corrected! Haven't had a 560 across my bench before but all of the 600s use the MX connector. Wonderful M.

You work for Canadian National, live in Louisiana and have personal stuff on your radio? How does that work or is that not company issued? The only other non railroad frequencies I've ever seen on a radio was Amtrak and it was just the weather frequencies.
