Might be a little off subject from scanners, but I figured it was still UHF/VHF stuff.
Anyone have any experience with choosing a good mobile TV antenna?
Not wanting to spend a fortune, but was wanting something that gave decent performance.

Any suggestions appreciated. :)

Many of us around here (Oklahoma - storm spotters/chasers/TV photogs) use the Radio Shack antenna, 15-1609. Works fairly well for me, and I'm 45 miles or so from the station. Not sure if it's still available, if your store doesn't have it, ask them to do a search. There is a similiar one sold to truckers, but local experience hasn't been that good. It all depends on how far away you are from the station, transmitter power, and terrain.
