I'm looking to install some sort of antenna to hook up to my 7" portable TV in the car. Right now I'm using the on-star antenna that came with the car, it works well with the UHF frequencies, but once I start moving, it can't hold a signal. Since everything is digital now, I basically loose everything. I do have a spare NMO mount already in place on the car, but with TV signals being horizontally polarized, I don't know if a vertical would be much good. I have also read that TV signals are now horizontally and vertical polarized, any truth to that? I will keep experimenting to see what best works, but looking to see what others have did that worked well.
