Mobile version of 396 coming?

Anyone hear of a mobile version coming down the trail anytime soon?

Paul Opitz (Uniden's Product Manager) stated (and I am paraphrasing) that Uniden doesn't talk about products more than 6 months away. So either there is no mobile version in the works or it is more than 6 months from release.

I'm still waiting for a mobile 246T That would be useful, and more affordable for more people. The jump fron the 246 to the 396 is big, in price & features.
