I have heard that it is undecided at this time. The LA&L use of LTR-NET is now very low, especially for dispatcher communications. They seem to prefer to use cell phones most of the time.
The only regularly activity I hear is the TG35 link from AAR48 on the Avon tower when a train is in the Avon area.
The Rochester LTR-Net site is deprecated. The CC is gone but one LCN is still on the air with idle pulses and broadcasting "Site=0".
Avon LTR CC is still active with voice channels shared on demand with NXDN. The Macedon and Hopewell LTR-Net sites are still active.
My reception of Avon is intermittent due to co-channel Newark NXDN.
Site 40, Hopewell, is not on NXDN that I am aware of. Not showing up on any Neighbor Lists and their LTR is still active. Do you mean Site 35, Seneca, 151.970?
