TG 3 had "Bus 81" in addition to "Bus 71" today. It is in the Elmira area since they are transporting to the "Bush" and "Coopers" Greater Southern Tier BOCES Centers as well as "Middle School" and "the school". It appears BOCES does not do their own transportation so it must be an area school district. It is NOT Corning-Painted Post since they have their own TG on the system. Also odd that it seems to be only 2 buses and possibly for special needs students.
The BOCES bus activity disappeared from TG3 with the school closures but new a user appeared on TG3 this week doing coverage testing in Chemung, Steuben and Schuyler Counties. It appears they may be a solar or wind electric company.

The RRDB listing has been changed to show TG3 as Mobiletech Test/Demo for now.

Do the Mobiletech sites carry traffic from other sites? I'm asking because I monitored TG66 discussing dropping off food to kids up in the Boonville school district. One discussion involved the Jackson Hill area and another talked about West Leyden. The strange thing - all of this was captured on 152.9675, RAN 3 (Manlius).

It all depends on if a subscriber unit to the TG is affiliated with the site. I see distant users TGs show up on S. Bristol either with one of their units possibly in the area but also I have seen what I believe to be a Mobiletech tech's RID affiliate with the TG. I think I hear things like TG3 today on S. Bristol because the tower is close to the Mobiletech shop and they may be monitoring.

Manlius would get affiliation from any units that happened to be in or passing through the Syracuse area that happened to be on that TG you are hearing. In the past, I would get a lot of distant school TGs on Rochester area towers because they had a unit in the area for an athletic or other event.

The Pulaski site is now reporting R13-19; CC=41384 151.7300. This should be Lowville up in Lewis County. As usual, I can't hear it because of terrain (Tug Hill).

I have Site 79 in my area on 151.730 so no chance I can hear Lowville. Site 79 is weak and I think I hear another site mixing with it when there is ducting I thought could be Parrish or Lowville. I think I am hearing Site 17 153.365 but it is mixed with a LTR-NET CC so no chance of any decode here. If anybody could get the Site 17 or 19 NL data, it should be a clue to sites in the Adirondacks.

I see some other wide area coverage sites are now reporting 13 neighbors like Pulaski now does.

Please submit any new or changed Site and CC info from observed NL data so the RRDB is current with info so new sites can be monitored to get additional data.

Good catch, it was not on the area NLs when I last checked Wednesday morning.

It is WRAK921, a new site I have been waiting for activity from. The Site 90 NL showing now is 26,31,32,42, 60,62,68,73,74,75,77,79.

Not sure what to call the site since there is an existing "Rochester" Site 33, in downtown, on LTR-NET. The new site address is Erie Station Road, Henrietta (Rochester PO address) but the Mobiletech site name on the license is "Horseshoe Lane" ( a nearby residential street). I think maybe the best way to list it is Horseshoe Lane (Rochester) to avoid confusion.

I will be monitoring to get the other channel activity on the site and to update adjacent neighbor lists.

Apparently Site 90 is not in service yet. There is no traffic on it and all unit registration attempts get "GROUP REJ" as I write this.

It would be nice to get more eyes and ears on this system.

So far half of the sites in the database (23 out of 47) have only the control channel identified, with no traffic (voice/data) channels yet confirmed. While some sites may be just coming online and don't have much traffic yet, it seems unlikely for that to be true for so many sites.

I know that this type of system normally isn't very interesting with regard to the type of users and radio traffic heard, but perhaps we can try to flesh out some of the traffic channels at these sites.

The site is active with some voice traffic now. During the day all users except TG1 (Mobiletech techs) were rejected but now regular users are active. All voice traffic has been on the 150.8525 CC so far.

I assume you have not been able to catch any voice traffic on the those sites to get the site voice channels which is what we are missing. Unfortunately, the system is generally only busy during business hours and much of the normal traffic is school bus. With the schools shut down this traffic is minimal but some districts still have some runs delivering meals to pick-up points for students. So there is some activity around 8-9 AM and Noon.

I'll let it run tomorrow and see what gets logged. I admit that I haven't spent much time sitting on any one site for very long due to the low activity.

DSD+ sat on site 92 from 0630 to about 1030 this morning with zero voice activity logged. I'll move to either 67 or 72 tomorrow depending on signal quality at the time.

Site 90 seems to be in normal operation now with subscriber traffic as of late this afternoon. Voice channel is 153.545 - submitted to RRDB.
There may be some new TGs based on some rejected affiliation attempts seen while they were working on the site today but no voice activity observed yet: 49, 58 & 63.

I had mine set on Site 72 since 6am, one Private call, and a voice call rejection, but no VC's, and around 9am, the signal quality dropped significantly, so after that, the stuff I got is really wrong
The "private call" may have been a decode error by DSD+. I don't think we have any known user TGs yet in that area yet so there may be no activity, especially with the schools closed. Here in the northern Finger Lakes area you can depend on constant chatter from the TG17 garbage trucks all day long on most sites.

Site 90 went off the air shortly after I reported observing voice activity Tuesday evening and has not returned yet.

This is not a good time to search for voice channels since most sites have little or no activity with the schools closed.
