Modification of a Radio Shack Pro-2050

Does any one know if a Pro-2050 can be modified to receive the 700mhz band. I live in Independence MO and IPD just switched to this frequency. Thanks in advancxe for any information.

Any receiver can be modified to receive anything. Can it be modified more cheaply than buying a new scanner? No.

No it cannot be modded for 700. Also the new system is APCO 25 so you'll need the BC396/996 to trunkscan the system.
