Greeting All,
I am interested if there is a possible way to modify my
Radio Shack Model 163, (analog) Model 197 (Digital)
Model 652 (digital) or and the 2096 (Digital)
Police Scanner to listen to the 88 ~108 FM radio
Anyone have a clue?

No you can't receive that frequency range. Plus the broadcast band is WFM and these scanners don't have the circuits to receive it.

Well I have a Pro 2035 and A Pro 2042
But, These Two receivers are considered
to be Desktop units and are just to big
to mount in my truck...

Actually, it is FMB for FM Broadcast. FM stations use 75 KHz deviation. WFM was good for analog TV audio which used 25 KHz deviation. WFM is also good for many wireless microphones.

Then, If ya please, Explain
How does my Pro 60 (hanheld) have this capability,
Is this why Radio shack only put out one handheld receiver with the capabilities.

Different models have different features and bands they cover. The Uniden BC330T covers all of this:
Frequency Coverage: 100 kHz - 1.3 GHz (cellular blocked in US)

No other Uniden scanners do that. Just because model A does a band, does not mean model B,C or D will.

I love my 330T. Haven't had this one for too long (a couple of months), but it has become my second favorite scanner/receiver.
