Peterborough Getting Ready

We just had all of our Ambulances in Peterborough County get re-fitted with the new fleetnet radios yesterday. It was interesting, the techs were able to convert 8 vehicles a day with all new equipment including radios, speakers, antennaes and portables.

Lindsay Dispatch says the new system will be 'Live' January 30 2006, and until then, we'll stay on conventional VHF channels.

Time to buy a trunking scanner I guess!
