did a 800 mhz search on my old "bearcat" and have been able to listen to traffic out of Comanche,Cotton, and Cache Counties. Heard some Lawton P D the other night also at least it was Lawton addresses.

You may have been hearing the Walters site of the State DPS trunking system.
That site would be carrying the radio traffic you heard. If you weren't trunk tracking you were just hearing the 4 repeaters and all the traffic on those repeaters in a random mode.
