I've started to dabble in monitoring a local Connect Plus trunking system (FleetConnect 158 in Southern Ontario) with DSD+

The site I am monitoring, Site 16, has 4 identified frequencies according to RR database.
https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=7079

Slicerwizard stated in another post of mine that
Per the docs, DMR channel numbers should be odd (1, 3, 5), not 1, 2, 3.[/code] With that, I'm not sure how to interpret the database. Are the small grey numbers preceding the frequencies the channel numbers? If so, there are even number channels?

Regardless, I entered the four frequencies into my DSDfrequencies file. I did subsitute the even numbers with odd and came up with this ...

Code:
Con+, 158, 16, 01, 451.5750, 451.5750, 0
Con+, 158, 16, 03, 452.0375, 452.0375, 0
Con+, 158, 16, 05, 452.6625, 452.6625, 0
Con+, 158, 16, 07, 452.9375, 452.9375, 0

This results in the DSD+ CC Channel Activity Window displaying...
Ch 01 451.5750 50 CC
Ch 02 451.5750
Ch 05 452.6625
Ch 06 452.6625

The frequencies are duplicated. Is this correct? Also noticing that when there is voice being transmitted on "CH2" that there is an echo. Is this normal? Is it a symptom of something being off?

I'm noticing the voice to be very poor. Legible but very garbled. Is there a setting that can clean that up any?

Yes. With DMR, there are two paths on each RF channel.

The CC copy of DSD+ is synthesizing voice when the voice traffic on the same RF channel as the Con+ control channel. You can block it by pressing 1 in CC DSD+.

Improve the signal quality or play around with the tuning utility.

DSDTune - The RadioReference Wiki

Also check with Task Manager to ensure the programs aren't CPU starved.

Thank you SlicerWizard ...

So it is OK to have the duplicate frequencies? Do I enter the frequencies into the frequency file with even numbers, as the RR frequency database lists them, or change them to odd numbers as I have? DMR channels can only be odd, yet they show up duplicated as even. Confusing.
