Hey Everyone,

I was hoping someone could please tell me what I am listening to.

I am located in the area of Salem County, NJ.

I have the New Jersey State Police programmed into my PRO-96. Specifically, I have the NJSP Salem County area programmed in.

The most active ID's that I am hearing are:

1. A1-16 AG
2. A1-13
3. A1-27

I can't seem to find the above listed ID's in the database.

Can anyone please advise what the above ID's belong to?

Lastly, I really only want to monitor NJSP in the area of Salem County, NJ.

Can somone please what ID's I should be listening to for that area?

Thanks!

They might not be NJSP, but corrections or some other agency using the trunked system.

Try looking it up by TGID. Check your 96's programming to see what TGIDs have the text labels you quoted, then check the database here. If you don't see them under Troop A, also look under Troops C and B, as they may be primarily C or B talkgroups which are multicast statewide or which a unit has affiliated to on the A zone.

I checked my records and other sources on the web and don't see listings for the three channels you list. Odds are they're in the database under a different name; just because they're in the NJSP radios (that's the A#-## designation) doesn't mean that NJSP is the main user. As kenisned mentioned, it may be Department of Corrections or some other user which NJSP wants direct access to.
