I recently purchased a new GRE PSR-800. I really like this scanner! However, I'm having some problems, as in my Pro-106, monitoring MECA from my home in Westfield. Most off the traffic is garbled and broken. I understand this is due to the P25 simulcast system MECA uses. I'm just asking for some advice on how I can make the PSR-800 better to monitor MECA...any suggested internal settings?...any suggestions on a portable directional antenna?
I can say the PSR-800 does an outstanding job of monitoring MECA from my office near 65th and Binford Blvd.
