Some have mentioned there interest in a scanner get together, swap fest of sorts where we could share new radios, frequencies, do some actually laptop programming. A few years ago I organized one of these in Denver and it was centered around a studio tour of KUSA.
There is another group in Phoenix that I work with (Incident Command Page, ICP) who has a monthly meeting at a local Fudd Ruckers, if that might be easier concept.
I’d be more than happy to try and coordinate this if folks are interested and we might want to move it up and down the front-range from Fort Collins to Pueblo to increase interest and lessen the drive time for some.
Please e-mail directly with your thoughts as not to tie up this list.
