Monitoring TACN in Nashville

Hey all - new TRX-2 and trying to monitor THP Nashville and HELP trucks on TACN. Only getting one brief transmission every 5 minutes or so. Anybody else having any luck monitoring TACN in the middle Tennessee area? What's the best method to do so?

I should add I'm using the Joelton repeater only since it's the closest to me - maybe it's down?

Hey Buddro - sure did, thank you. Actually been talking with the guy that decoded it for the RR database - great guy. I tweaked the system pretty good and am getting semi-decent NXDN on Cheatham County. Now TACN - completely different story. I get nothing but the occasional word or just dead key. Just now got 4 in a row, one after the other. What on earth gives? Why can other people monitor TACN and I get nothing? Just can't figure it out...

Sooo since I was at a complete loss, I tried importing TACN from the library.......and now it's working for reasons well beyond my understanding, Oh well!

When you import you get other settings that you might not enter.

Yeah, that's what I'm figuring - would love to know what's different for future reference.
