I would like to be able to answer your question, but it is so dull and boring in Salina, that they sent our only FBI agent to Manhattan. Sorry I can't help.

It's just your main nationwide repeater listings in the KC area. Anything you find listed as the main stuff for the major agenices is active but only very rarely.
I think they use nextel and local TRS sytems mainly.

I hear a couple of FBI repeaters with alot of activity but they are DES 100%. The only digital signal I've caught so far is the FPS and they are now encrypted too.

Dull and Boring.... That sounds like a good thing to have...Why did they send him to Aggyville? K-State student change his corriculum from land managment to pharmaceutical production?

You would be amazed as too what they can do with fertilizer these days!

Well, There was some activity here on tuesday. They appearently made an arrest on 4 people who was making a dope for guns deal. which also covered a line of folks from KC to Mexico. I havnt heard anything else on the matter nor has it gotten much press. I guess that maybe a good thing ( Not much press)

J.D., didn't you know that is where all the donut shops are being robbed ?? (Ha - no pun intended Rick !)
And that makes it a federal offence? Must have been powdered donuts that was carried across state lines!

And stealing donuts from a FBI agent's powdered fingers is also a federal offense - I'm sure the cops would agree ! :p

Same here Rick. The only time we hear anything Federal is if F.E.M.A. is around due to tornado damage. There is a K.B.I. office less than 30 miles from here and they don't even talk. Sorry I can't help out here either.

"My moufs num...why my mouf so num?"

True Story: I and another supervisor got called down town to talk to our Director. As we got on the elevator 4 detectives got on with us. As we went up, lo and behold, someone ripped a silent but deadly fart. As the aroma filled the elevator I could see people starting to look around to find the culprit. When I turn to give my co-worker the "Hairy-Eyeball" my partner pipes of with this..." Don't look at me. That smelled like a donut fart if you ask me!"
Thank god we got to our floor before they did... I couldnt help but to crack up laughing.

So back to the original question... Fed freqs in KS dead? The reason Im asking. G. Bush Sr. is coming to town in late Sept to speak. I'm sure there will be lots of US SS agents running around. I do have a list of there freqs but Im sure it may be out dated. What do you think they will use when they roll into town?

BTW Bill, Aint you a cop too?
Heck no, with today's criminals - you couldn't pay me enough !!

Maybe when Rick was a rookie it would have been worth it, not anymore. Listening to some of the knuckle-head calls Denver P.D. has to deal with, they'd have to put me in a padded cell and throw away the key after about the 1st week !!

I knew a cop that spoke quite a few different languages. His favorite line to people who tried to play dumb with " I no speaka engrish!" was:

"Look, I speak 5 languages. If it wasn't for my bad attitude, I would have been the Pope!"
"Now, shall we try this again?"

Another good response would be, "I don't normally speak knuckle-head, but in this case, I'll make an exception"
