I have just one quick question, I hope that it is not a stupid one. I see in the post here titled Monitoring Times 2006 Airshow, that some of the Flight Performance Groups such as the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds have there frequency assigned using NBFM. I was just wondering with my RS Pro-97 would I be able to receieve these communications if I programmed in a NBFM frequency in regular FM, Because I don't believe that I can change the receiving mode on my RS Pro-97 to NBFM instead of regular FM. Basically what I'am asking is will I still be able to receive a NBFM frequency if it is programmed in as basic FM.

Thank you all for any help.

Things must really be getting bad on RR when everyone is starting their question with an apology for asking it! :)

The FM mode on your scanner will work just fine for FM, or NFM modes. Uniden scanners have FM, NFM, and WFM modes, that why it is mentioned from time to time. The PRO-97 is an excellent choice for that activity!
