A good place to monitor ATC is flightaware.com. It shows every airport including county and can refine search to certain aircraft. Nice site

Not really, it is only good for the database, which is very well kept. Other than that, if you are VFR (a good amount are!) you won't see any action!

Caleb is Right. I used to have free access to Flightexplorer for a while. That by far is the best and shows sector boundaries and high and low level sectors too. Quite pricey at that too. So I am basically back to flightaware.
