Monmouth County VHF Paging

Question is Monmouth county staying on VHF for Ems And Fire paging.

Or is there plans to move paging to the 700 meg system

There will be no 700 mhz paging. 100% staying on VHF according to the Sheriff in a meeting I attended last year.

No advantage to switching paging from VHF to1 700/800 mhz. Many NJ counties simulcast paging on VHF and 700/800 trunked. Thousands of pagers and station alerting units would have to be replaced at > $600 each.
