Monroe County’s EMS A-3 for Pocono Hospital’s base station has been down for three days. EMS has been making their reports via phone. Anyone know if this is due to routine maintenance, or a system problem?

It was xmiting an open carrier for a few hours late yesterday / afternoon early evening.

1 1/2 months, and it’s still down. I’m not sure what the heck is going on. You would think they would want to fix that patch fairly quickly. I thought it was an older system, but according to the FCC, the latest system was first used in July 2012. When I worked at Pocono, they got new equipment installed at the ER base station as well. Prior to 2012, they were using old Motorola C100 tone remote desk sets.
