ok I posted awhile back that Monroe County now has EMS Repeated..They were using 151.1150 DPL174 as EMS A-6 i started to pick up another frequency 155.4000 PL186.2 which is also the same transmissions as 151.1150 my thought is a North/South simulcast repeater? since 155.4 comes in better towards south part of county.
Can anyone else confirm this, They still use the old A-1 155.2800 PL186.2 often since some units cant here in north part of county
Thanks

I have all of these programmed in my scanner, but I can't confirm what you're asking. Maybe because I'm essentially monitoring as a base station I'm too far away to receive 155.4000 and 155.2800 with any regularity? I copy 151.1150 all day, everyday.

But something that I don't really understand is: I have 453.7500 as Fire(Medic) dispatch and I hear this all day, everyday; shortly followed by a transmission on 151.1150 that seems to have more info regarding patient status, exact location for response, street by street directions, etc. Any light to shed on this??? It's almost like there's two dispatch operations.

453.7500 CSQ (no tone) is used for station alerting.. When call comes into control they get dispatched for Fire/EMS on this frequency " Ems 11-1 respond 123 Main St Coolbaugh twp Code 1 Abdominal pains" etc.. than units responding reply on air that frequency of 155.4000 or 151.115.

Steve - tonight I was able to confirm your original statement; at least with 155.4000/186.2 and 151.1150/174. I was running two scanners simultaneously and one locked on the first freq and the other the second one and the transmissions were identical. Good catch, I wasn't aware they did that.

151.151 will be reverting back to a simplex only freq in the future. 155.400 will be the RX on the repeater pair once this occurs. At tis time 151 and 400 are tied together at the same transmitter and receiver point which is only at one location.
