I live in Toledo, and have a scanner antenna mounted 50' up on a TV tower. I always received Monroe County really good, however lately it seems they are weaker....I have both a BC-796D & BC-780XLT...

Anybody else notice them being weaker?

thanks in advance!

Do you have both of those radios hooked up to the antenna? If so are you using something like a Stridsberg multicoupler? Reason I ask is because if you are just using a T to hook both radios to the antenna, then you are killing your reception.

They are very weak up here in Washtenaw County as well on VHF and UHF. I know they turned the power down for some reason but for what I have no clue.

The Fire Dispatch freq. has been noticably poor for a few months now. Started about the time they got their new consoles installed so I'd bet it has something to do with that.

I don't listen to the donut eaters so I couldn't tell you about that freq. :p
