Last week, Court TV ran a documentary called "Party Police", which profiled law enforcement at work during a major event in the Florida Keys (the hospitality convention in Islamorada). What caught my attention was the fact that even though the State of Florida is on the EDACS digital system, the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation officers were seen using Motorola radios. It got me thinking:
1. That was filmed before the EDACS switchover in the Florida Keys (I'm guessing it was this year, though it could've been last year), or
2. FWC officers were using Monroe County issued radios for interops.
Anyone care to shed some light on this?
