Does anyone know if Monroe PD is phase one or two, I can get a phase one scanner for cheap but I don't want it to be a paper weight if they are phase two.

I've always had older scanners so I never bought a P25 one, good thing I didn't buy one since I wouldn't been able to hear them if it's really encrypted.

Your older scanners will still be okay for fire and ems in Monroe. They are still analog. Also, you can still hear almost everything around Monroe with them except for Newtown and Redding pd's which are P25 and encrypted, and of course CSP which is digital trunked. CSP is in the clear though.
