Anyone else having problems picking up Monroe Base on 42.38?

I'm getting them very weak compared with normal reception. I'm in South Charlotte and this is off a ground plane in the attic. Normally I hear Asheville loud and clear off that antenna.

It's possible the severe weather that passed through the Piedmont this afternoon and early this evening might have done something to the antenna at Concord, which carries both Monroe's traffic on 13, and Salisbury's traffic on 15.

If a problem developed at Concord site, I believe both Monroe and Salisbury would use the tower at their comm centers for their respective communications in Mecklenberg and Cabarrus Counties.

According to the Cabarrus County Sheriffs Office, there was a tornado touchdown in that county during the midafternoon, with minor damage to a barn in a rural part of the county.

As of now - 9 p.m. Sunday - both 13 and 15 are being received here with decent, and almost equal, signal levels.
