I wish the system would let you hear a talk group from like say Helena area or Another area that is using the system in the Flathead but I know it doesn’t due to the fact it would defeat the purpose except in a emergency they can open up a couple talk groups or 1 for statewide use as in units being able to talk all around the state from let’s say here in Flathead county sheriff office would be able to chat with any other sheriff office in Montana on one channel state wide

You need to have a real radio user on that talkgrouo on the site you are monitoring to be able to receive this radio traffic. That is if the talkgroup is enabled to be able to use that site, since not all talkgroups can roam onto all sites.

Some talkgroups are forced on the sites fulltime even without a user on it.
