I don't see PL tones listed on either in the database unless I'm overlooking?

Bodnarp, do you own a PL/CTCSS capable scanner or radio and live in the Montcalm area? If you let us know the model you are using you most likely can search for the PL/CTCSS tone. If you live in the area you can also record a few transmissions of what frequency you want the PL tone for, upload it here, and we can figure out which they are using. Just be sure that if you record it, that its from the source you want and not another county using the same frequency.

Years ago, they used 110.9 Hz on 155.610, but I don't know if that is still valid or not. The last time I checked was 1992. Ironically, that frequency is used in my area for water department telemetry and I can't hear Montcalm County anymore.

The PL for Montcalm's dispatch 155.610 is 123.0 Hz

I believe the EMS 155.175 is also 123.0 Hz but I did not hear any locations mentioned and there are a few other nearby counties that also use 155.175 for EMS dispatching, so I cannot confirm that one.
