Montco System Changes and Scanner

So with the future of montco slowly unfolding, I'm debating about changes to my scanner. Even if PD will be on 700 and FD/EMS will be on 800 the whole system will be TDMA phase 2 ?....so if desired I could leave my FD/EMS & PD talkgroups all in one system and have 700 and 800 freqs loaded for that system and be fine right?

By 2019 , it SHOULD have fully migrated to Phase 2.


I keep all my talk groups in one bank, and set up banks for just simplex. That way I can turn the other stuff off easier and scan the talk groups faster.

but if only police will be on all 700 and the rest on all 800 are they better off in separate systems cause of the different frequencies or it will catch everything on both as it scans ?

I do not believe they will be running separate simultaneous systems.

Yes, until they build the Hytera DMR system they were considering.

alrighty thank u for the info and true I hear ya their still on the EDACS system right? thought I heard them on the conventional channel not to long ago and thank you again
