It will be interesting to see how TG 2601 works for both EMS and Fire Dispatch. Are they not two different dispatchers? What if they are talking at the same time?

EMS Hail is alive and well on my SDS100

Consider yourself one of the lucky Whistler owners. You may want to take it on the road with you sometime to compare results. The other thing to be aware about is that non-optimized radios can miss entire transmissions, and you will never know unless you have control channel software running (or an actual subscriber radio, G4/G5, SDS scanner, or good quality livestream) to compare.

Wish I could say that for my PSR800. Distortion is so bad that I only get an occasional complete transmission.

Heard a unit ID as "Philadelphia Medic 96-2" on EMS Hail. We now have interop with Philly?

Montgomery County Fire and EMS - Digital Live Audio Feed (no dispatch Fire or EMS)

I'm sure these will get resolved. At least we have something for those without scanners

I believe that's Burholme Ambulance.

They are the same dispatcher, its no change from how it was previously.

I own the Montgomery County Fire and EMS - Digital feed. I will have to try reprogramming the scanner. Not sure why there's no dispatch or EMS Hailing.
