Monteagle Sunday School Assembly is a Summer Resort, there are over 150 cottages located within the Assembly. Long recognizing the desirability of the mountain area, over a hundred years ago the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly was founded as the Chautauqua of the South and continues to swell the town population during the annual summer season as guests arrive to spend the summer in their fascinating Victorian cottages.
