As some of you have heard, local law enforcement agencies have recently teamed up to create the joint operation "Operation Impact" to turn up the heat on Salinas gangs. I'm hearing "Operation Impact" traffic on Salinas PD channel 2 and on S.O primary, but all the action is on Salinas PD channel 2. LOTS of traffic and lots of 10-3's. I keep hearing a "channel 4". I can't seem to pick anything up on my band searches, though.

460.025R Secondary (146.2 mutual aid)
460.300R 131.8
460.350R 146.2 Records
460.375S Tac 146.2
460.500R 146.2 Secondary

That 158.745 is actually used by county animal control. I know that animal control does not operate 24/7 and they're on-call after closing hours. Maybe the coroner operates on this frequency after hours?

yes it's use for county animal control and also used as two-tone page out Child Protective Services "CPS". It use to be use by the health department but they are on 800mhz now. And no the coroner operates on SO primary their call signs are King units like "king5"

And for 153.8150 pl 162.2 is used for a tac, but only after hours by MOCO law enforcement. The techs have it patch to SPD channel 2 for Operation Impact for SO and CHP that use VHF.

Also check out the Monterey county data base I added some new stuff and fix some stuff.
