Montgomery Co Sherifs "subsystem"

I was at my sisters house in capitol heights & was able to pick up the 5 ch subsystem as well as the regular TRs. My question is. "Are same TG's on both systems or some only on 1 sytem or the other? that make any sense?. I live about a mile or so from Eastdale mall wht type antenna I need 2 pick up both here?, would an outside mag mount on side of the house work?? or would I just need to experiment?

TRS 5 channel site

The 5 channel site you are referring to is part of the TRS in Montgomery. It is part of the multisite system. A 3 site simulcast system(1 site) and a 5 channel system (2nd site). Both sites are "tied" together. Generally speaking, what you see on one site, you will see on the other site. But it will depend on how they have the system set up.
