so the little yellow dots are the "new" way of telling what is updated, i remember it used to be a yellow stripe across the latest updates, but ever since the color in my computer went haywire, the dots make it easier for me to tell.

anyways, in so far as conventional systems, which seem to be the only thing updated in mont. county, it seems that it is just formatted different, cleaned up a bit if you will.....what were the main changes if any were made?

As was already mentioned, the Lower Merion trunked system was updated.

After you posted your original question, I was working on consolidating categories on the main county page (with a few minor corrections or deletions). For the rapidly increasing number of people who use software linked to Radio Reference for scanner programming, all those different categories make programming cumbersome. With the reduced number of categories, it reduces the number of steps people need to go through to get information into their scanner.

There are a bunch of county listing for PA that should be reformatted, but it takes time.

yea, pretty much what i expected, as you and i had concluded before Ben, most of the municipal dept.s in mont. county are dispatched thru the county and therefore their local channels, COULD BE obsolete, although as u know im sure, they keep those channels for other things.
