Montgomery County Digital Reception??

Just checking to see if anyone else is getting crappy reception on the Montco digital stuff. My reception on my PRO-96 has been perfect. Now all of a sudden I am getting a choppy machine gun sort of noise on many digital transmissions. This just started within the last day or two.

Bucks County Digital sounds perfect...no problems there!

Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me??

Just to clarify...it is not the sounds of a control channel. It is a choppy staticy type of sound...almost like a distant transmission just breaking squelch on a conventional frequency...

I am in the west zone and I haven't heard anything like this, but when someone is nearby with a Nextel, I get a fast popping sound and the radio doesn't even have to be stopped on a transmission. I have a BCD396T with the stock antenna.

Sometimes I hear an echo effect on digital transmissions, sounds kinda like the reverb units found on 1960's vintage stereos.

I too am in the West zone...this just started a couple of days ago...I'm wondering if it is intereference form some kind of an electricl device...I'll have to keep troubleshooting I guess. All other digital from Bucks etc sounds great, so I don't believe it is a decoding issue.
By the way...How do youn like the 396 for use in our area?? How is the digital audio, etc??

My digital interference problem seems to have cured itself...I'm guessing it was temporary interference from something in the area. It sounds great now just like it did before!!

The BCD396T digital audio is great!

The only issue is the echo effect and that is only very occasionally, I had this on my PRO-96 as well, it must be something with the montco system and not the scanners.
